…you’re arguing all the time.

When every argument starts to feel like déjà vu, it’s time to break the cycle. Therapy helps you get to the root of the pattern and learn how to talk in ways that don’t blow up.
…you can’t stop living in the past.
When trust has been damaged, every argument, glance, or silence can feel like proof that things aren’t okay. Therapy helps you repair what was broken and rebuild trust so you’re not reliving the same old hurts.
…you feel miles apart, even in the same room.

FAQs-
High-conflict couples need a different approach than traditional talk therapy. We don’t sit back and let things escalate. We step in, guide the conversation, slow things down, and help you stay calm enough to actually hear each other. Sessions are structured, active, and focused on shifting the pattern—not rehashing the same fight.
-
You’re not alone—many high-intensity couples have had therapy experiences that left them feeling more frustrated. What’s different here is leadership and structure. We don’t let sessions spiral or turn into another blowup. We help you communicate in ways that feel manageable, productive, and safe—so the work actually moves you forward.
-
It’s okay… Really. High-conflict dynamics are what we specialize in. We’re trained to interrupt unhelpful patterns, slow things down, and keep the room safe so things don’t spiral. You don’t need to “behave perfectly” for this work to help—we support you in real time.
-
No. We won’t push you to break up or stay together. Our role is to help you understand the pattern you’re stuck in, communicate more clearly, and explore what each of you wants. We support you in making the decision that feels right for you—not the one that feels right to us.
-
Yes—we offer both. We see couples in person at our Evergreen, Colorado office and online throughout the entire state.
For high-conflict couples, we highly encourage coming in person for at least some sessions. So much of this work involves communication skills, learning how to stay calm in the moment, and practicing new patterns together—and we have powerful in-person tools that make that easier and more effective.
Online sessions are still an option, but many couples find a blend of in-person and virtual sessions gives them the best results.
