Tired of Repeating the Same Fight Again and Again?
Therapy Can Help You Break the Cycle
You start the conversation with good intentions, but somehow things get off track. One of you shuts down, the other gets frustrated, and before long you’re having the same argument you swore you were done with. It’s not that you don’t care — you just don’t have the tools to communicate in a way that brings you closer instead of pushing you further apart.
In real life, this looks like:
↠ Conversations that derail within minutes
↠ A growing sense of distance, even when you’re trying to reconnect
↠ Trust that’s been shaken and feels hard to rebuild
↠ Arguments that blow up fast or disappear into silence
↠ That quiet fear that love is there, but you can’t keep going like this
Couples therapy gives you the tools to communicate differently, interrupt the old patterns, and finally feel like you’re on the same team again.

Rebuild Your RelationshipWith a Couples Therapist Who Gets It
Support for couples who want more connection and less conflict.
I became a therapist because I’ve seen how much people can grow when they feel supported and understood. Working with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship stress has taught me that most people don’t need to be “fixed”—they just need someone who listens, pays attention to what’s really going on, and helps them make sense of it without judgment.
In sessions, I’m steady, direct, and down-to-earth. I make room for both partners to feel heard, and I’m not afraid to bring some hope, creativity, or humor into tough conversations. It helps people relax, be honest, and start shifting the patterns that keep showing up between them.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me making or listening to music, getting outside, or “training” for a marathon I’ll never actually run. I’m a lifelong fantasy-and-sci-fi nerd, always ready for a debate about which is better. And I do my best to practice what I encourage—slowing down, meditating, exploring, and finding a little calm in a world that moves fast.
My background supporting survivors of domestic violence and high-risk youth taught me that people are incredibly resilient. Even in the hardest situations, change is possible. I carry that belief into every session—and yes, we’ll probably share a laugh or two along the way.

In-Person and Online Therapy for Stronger Relationships
Real support for couples who want to make things work.
Here’s what you can expect when we get started:
First, we get on the same page about what you want your relationship to look like.
We’ll talk through what’s been hard, what’s been helping, and what each of you hopes will change—even if it’s not easy to put into words yet. Both of you will have the chance to speak honestly, feel heard, and understand what really needs attention.
Next, we work on how you talk to each other.
You’ll learn how to share what you mean without things escalating, listen without shutting down, and repair when conversations go sideways. We’ll practice these skills together so they feel easier to use at home—especially when emotions run high.
Then, we rebuild the parts of the relationship that have taken a hit.
Once things feel less reactive, we’ll focus on trust, closeness, and feeling like partners again. That might mean addressing old hurts, breaking long-standing patterns, or rediscovering the parts of your connection that make the relationship worth fighting for.
Finally, we help you keep the progress going.
We’ll talk about what it takes to stay connected day-to-day, handle stress as a team, and keep showing up for each other—without everything feeling like so much work.

Yes. I work with many couples who deal with recurring arguments, growing distance, or trust that’s been strained by drinking, secrecy, or past decisions.
If you’re struggling to talk without things escalating, unsure how to repair after a breach of trust, or feeling stuck in patterns that won’t budge, you’re not alone — I’ve helped couples work through situations like these, and we’ll tackle yours together with an effective, proven approach.

Most couples don’t need a perfect plan—they just need a different way of communicating and someone who can guide the conversation.
In our work together, you’ll get practical tools, clear direction, and a place where both of you can finally say what’s really going on. When couples show up willing to try, they usually start noticing small shifts early on: fewer blowups, more understanding, and a sense that things are getting better.
-
I offer both. You’re welcome to meet with me in person at our Evergreen office, or online from anywhere in Colorado. Many couples choose a mix of both.

My rate is $185 for a 50-minute session, and I’m considered an out-of-network provider, which means I don’t take insurance directly.
You can read more about fees, out-of-network benefits, and payment options on our Rates & Insurance page. Everything is laid out clearly so you know exactly what to expect.
