Couples Therapy Can Help

Stuck in the Same Fight You’ve Had a Hundred Times?

Lately, it feels like everything sparks an argument. The smallest comment turns into a huge blow-up, or worse—tension that lasts for days. You keep trying to talk things through, but the same patterns repeat, leaving you both frustrated, disconnected, and exhausted.

Wether you’re dealing with:

Fights that never get resolved and always circle back,

Distance that feels bigger every time you try to bridge it,

A betrayal that cracked something you don’t know how to repair,

Conversations that end with slammed doors or stone-cold silence, or

The growing sense that love alone isn’t enough to fix this

Couples therapy helps you break the patterns, rebuild trust, and face conflict head-on—instead of getting buried by it.

I help couples stop fighting and start communicating.

Communicate Better

With a Couples Counselor Who Gets It

I became a therapist because therapy changed my life.

It helped my marriage, grounded me as a parent, and proved that even the messiest relationships can change.

Now, I help couples who are fighting, drifting apart, or just wondering if they can make it work. I know how painful it is to feel disconnected from the person you love—and how powerful it is to feel close again.

When I’m not in session, you’ll find me chasing my kids, hiking a trail, or reheating my coffee for the third time. I split my time between Colorado and Minnesota, but Evergreen still feels like home.

Before trading city life for mountain air, I lived in Chicago, where I earned my clinical training—and my winter survival skills. (Snow. Everywhere. All the time.)

I’m originally from South Texas, so you won’t catch me skiing, but I’ll happily wander a mountain trail or curl up with a blanket and a good book. Or, let’s be honest, a round of Plants vs. Zombies once the house is finally quiet.

Who I Help

Couples who can’t seem to talk without it turning into another fight

Couples stuck in the same argument that never really gets resolved

Couples trying to rebuild after infidelity or betrayal

Couples navigating the impact impact of too much drinking or broken trust

Couples on the brink of divorce who need help figuring out what comes next

Relationship Therapy That Helps You Move Forward

You don’t need another place to rehash the same fight.

You need a calm, neutral space where you can untangle what’s been happening and find your way forward.

First, we figure out where you’re headed—so you’re not just spinning your wheels.
We’ll look at what’s working, what’s not, and what each of you wants—even if that’s still fuzzy. You’ll both have space to speak honestly, feel heard, and get clear on what needs to change.

Next, we build better tools—so you can talk without things blowing up.
You’ll learn how to say what you mean, listen without getting defensive, and repair when things go off track. We’ll practice these tools together so they actually stick—especially when things get tense at home.

Then, we focus on reconnecting—so you can enjoy being together again.
Once things feel less reactive, we’ll work on rebuilding trust, closeness, and intimacy. That might mean healing from past hurt, showing up differently, or finally feeling like a team again.

Finally, we help you stay on track—so your relationship feels easier, even when life isn’t.
We’ll talk about how to stay connected in daily life, handle stress as a team, and keep showing up for each other—without everything feeling like so much work.

  • Yes—many times. I’ve been doing this work for nearly 15 years and specialize in helping couples who are stuck in conflict, healing from betrayal, or unsure if they should stay together. You're not too far gone, too messy, or too complicated for therapy to help.

We’ll meet you where you are and help you figure out the best path forward—for you, and for your relationship.

  • I am only able to offer online therapy at this time, so you can meet from anywhere in Colorado—no commute, no traffic, just a calm, private space to focus on your relationship. Virtual sessions are every bit as effective as in-person therapy and make it easier to stay consistent, even on the busiest weeks.

  • My rate is $215 for a traditional 50-minute therapy session, and I’m considered an out-of-network provider, which means I don’t accept insurance.

You can find all the details about our fees, insurance reimbursement, and payment options on our Rates & Insurance page. It’s all laid out clearly so you know exactly what to expect.
